A hiking trip for those who want to experience magnificent nature without stress.
DAY 1 – October 8, towards the mountains of the Pyrenees
We arrive in Barcelona and continue our journey by bus up into the Pyrenees.
During the trip, the landscape gradually changes – from the mild climate of the coast to high mountains, deep valleys, and alpine views. In the afternoon, we reach Andorra, where we check in at our comfortable Hotel Nordic. Dinner together at the hotel. The evening is free to rest after the journey and enjoy the mountain air. [ M ]
DAY 2 – 9/10, Vall d'Incles – a perfect start
We start the week with a hike in the scenic Vall d'Incles, one of Andorra's most popular valleys. The surroundings offer flowering meadows, babbling brooks, and sweeping views. The hike is at a leisurely pace and the group is divided so that everyone gets an experience that suits their level. We will enjoy a picnic lunch outdoors before returning to the hotel. In the evening, we will have dinner together and time to share our impressions of the day. [ B, L, D ]
DAY 3 – 10/10, Sorteny – The green heart of Andorra
Today's hike takes us to the Sorteny Valley, a protected nature reserve known for its rich flora and open mountain landscapes. We walk a beautiful circular route with the option of choosing an easier or more challenging variant. In the middle of the valley, we gather at a mountain hut for a well-deserved after-walk drink before continuing down to the bus together. A day that truly captures the feeling of Andorra's mountain world. [ B, L, D ]
DAY 4 – 11/10, Suspension bridge, views & city life
Today, we combine light activity with spectacular views. In
Canillo, we cross the famous Tibetan suspension bridge – 603 meters long and floating high above the valley. Then we visit the Roc del Quer viewing platform, where the glass floor gives a dizzying feeling of floating above the landscape. After these experiences, we head down to Andorra la Vella for some free time with lunch, shopping, and walks before returning to the hotel. [B, L]
DAY 5 – October 12, optional hike – nature decides
Our last day of hiking in Andorra will be tailored to the weather and the group's wishes. Our local guide will choose the best route for the day – it could be a panoramic hike, an easy summit hike, or a tour of the UNESCO-protected Madriu Valley. Whatever we choose, we can look forward to magnificent views and a wonderful end to our hiking days in the mountains. A picnic lunch is included, and in the evening we will gather for dinner together. [ B, L, D ]
DAY 6 – October 13, hiking & wine in Penedès
We leave the Pyrenees and travel south to the wine region of Penedès. Here, an easy and enjoyable hike through vineyards and rolling countryside awaits us. The hike ends at the Parés Baltà winery, where we will enjoy a guided tour and wine tasting. A perfect combination of exercise, nature, and local flavors. In the afternoon, we continue to the Mediterranean coast and our hotel in Castelldefels. [ B, L ]
DAY 7 – 10/14, day off by the Mediterranean Sea
A day entirely at your own pace. Relax on the beach, take the train into Barcelona, or take a trip to charming Sitges. In the evening, there is the option of a group farewell dinner. [ F ]
DAY 8 – October 15, return journey
Transfer to the airport and journey home – filled with nature experiences, camaraderie, and memories of the Pyrenees. [ F ]
