DAY 1 – Bus trip from Skellefteå to Abisko via ICEHOTEL
After leaving Skellefteå in the morning, our Lofoten group trip begins as we travel via Piteå to Luleå, where our tour guide joins us. From here, we continue north and follow the E10 towards Gällivare.
The road takes us through forests and river valleys, past quiet villages, as the northern Swedish landscape gradually transitions from coast to wilderness. In Gällivare, we stop for lunch before continuing to Jukkasjärvi, where we visit the world-famous ICEHOTEL 365. Here we get a glimpse of the unique ice suites, which can now be experienced all year round.
The journey continues along the beautiful Nordkalottvägen, also known as the "Road of the Senses." With views of the vast Torneträsk lake and surrounded by dramatic mountain landscapes, we approach today's destination—Abisko, where a group dinner awaits us at our hotel.

DAY 2 – Arrival in Lofoten and boat trip to Trollfjorden
After breakfast, our tour of Lofoten continues as we travel towards the Lofoten Islands in northern Norway. Have your camera ready to photograph birds, mountain flowers, fish farms, tunnels, and roads that seem to disappear into the fjords before reappearing on the other side.
In Hanøy, we leave the bus and continue the last leg of the journey to Svolvær by boat. A memorable three-hour boat trip takes us into the beautiful and world-famous Trollfjord. During the cruise, there is a good chance of seeing majestic sea eagles and feeding seabirds. A warming fish soup is served on board.
We arrive at Svolvær harbor, where our bus meets us and takes us to our hotel for dinner and overnight stay in Lofoten.

DAY 3 – Discover the fjords of Lofoten, fishing villages, and Viking history
Breakfast. Today we spend a whole day discovering Lofoten, one of Norway's most popular summer destinations. Along incredibly beautiful roads, we travel slowly in and out of valleys and coastal bays. The landscape is a photographer's dream, with dramatic fjords, emerald green waters, and sharp mountain peaks appearing behind every bend.
We pass beautifully situated fishing villages and traditional fishermen's cabins before visiting the LOFOTR Viking Museum, where we use audio guides for the tour and enjoy lunch. On the way back, we stop in Kabelvåg and visit the Cathedral of Lofoten. Vågan Church, built in 1898, stands proudly against the mountains in the background and can be seen far out to sea. With its 1,200 seats, it is the largest church in northern Norway and one of the country's largest wooden churches.
Before returning to our hotel for dinner, we will take a short walk in the capital of Lofoten and visit the Lofoten War Museum. The exhibition reflects the years 1940–45 and offers an interesting historical insight. There will also be time for a coffee break.

We say goodbye to Lofoten for now as our group tour continues towards Bodø. After breakfast, we load our luggage onto the bus and drive to the ferry terminal in Moskenes. From here, we take the ferry across the fjord to Bodø.
Moskenes is approximately 250 kilometers from Bodø. Before departure, there is some free time and the opportunity to have lunch on your own. The ferry also offers simple meals on board.
The ferry usually departs around 2:45 p.m. and arrives in Bodø after 6:00 p.m. Depending on the time and tide, we may visit Saltstraumen to experience the powerful tidal currents before heading to our hotel to check in.
Dinner on your own.
